Service is what we do here @ RCC. We serve God by serving people. We are the "hands and feet" of Jesus. Whatever you interest, gift or talent there is something for you to do at RCC.
Baptism: When a baptism takes place members of this ministry serve as a hospitality coordinator. You will help the person through the entire process. You will guide them to changing rooms, provide a towel and make sure they know where to go and assist however needed. Bob & Nancy Curran: bncurran@tds.net
Bereavement/Flowers: This committee loves and serves people in their greatest time of need. They prepare and serve meals after funerals, take food to homes when needed, and send cards and flowers to hurting families. Call church office: 765-522-1913
Building & Grounds: This committee does handyman work around the church, maintenance, and general upkeep and repair inside and out. They take care of landscaping and building appeal which includes the office and parking lot. There are many ways you can help with all level of skill. Ron Richardson: ronbev501@tds.net
Children’s Ministry: Within the children’s ministry there is the nursery, pre-school, and grades 1-5. If you volunteer to teach, or assist, your lesson will be provided to you. First Impressions: If you love people and love to socialize this ministry is for you! We need a warm and friendly face eager to welcome members and new guests. You get the chance to be the church and put your faith in action by reaching out to people as they come into our building and serving them. Greet them, help direct them and introduce them to others. Make sure they fill out a guest card and get a visitor’s welcome packet and answer any questions they have as well as putting them at ease in what could be their first time in a church. Kitchen: If you’re a natural in the kitchen and you love serving people than this is the place for you! The kitchen committee helps prepare and organize church meals, over sees the kitchen supplies, serves on a rotational schedule to help prepare coffee and donuts for Sunday morning services. This committee also helps with our food pantry ministry, packaging our donated Panera bread and overseeing/ organizing food donations. Arlene Ford: eamford@hotmail.com
Missions: Do you have a heart for helping people in need around the world? Our missions team looks for ways our church can help fill needs at home and abroad. You get to know missionaries from around the world and hear first-hand the work they’re doing for God’s Kingdom. Missions meets a couple times per year to decide where to send funds and how to engage our congregation with the missions we are a part of. Stephanie Ford: seford67@gmail.com
Audio Visual: This team assists our minister and worship team with slide preparation, sound/mic control, sermon graphics and other audio and visual needs around the church including TV/DVD hook ups in classrooms and lobby. Carrie Burdine: care.burndine1395@gmail.com or Otis (Josh) Miller:
Special Events: This is our party planning team. They plan and organize special events for the church all throughout the year and especially around holidays. They create opportunities for fun and fellowship for members and ways to extend that to the community. Bonnie Bryan: bonniebryan66@yahoo.com
Youth: This includes both Jr. & Senior High School kids. Come serve, teach, volunteer and help organize/ create fun events and opportunities for our teens to love God, love others and serve the world. Jana Brothers: brothersjana76@gmail.com
Food Pantry: Help serve the community with this outreach ministry. This program operates Saturday mornings from 10-12pm with volunteers rotating schedules. Arlene Ford: eamford@tds.net
Personal Hygiene Ministry: This operates alongside the food pantry and helps provide families with much needed personal care products. Kay Call: kay_call@yahoo.com
Building décor/ Creative Projects: From time to time we have special projects that come up which require a creative touch. It could be anything from stage design, painting projects, or laying out info cards. We may also need help designing the flow of the furniture or putting decorations around the church.
